We have a number of volunteering opportunities at our agency located in Hampton East.
Our agency provides a drop in service to access information, advocacy, referrals, emergency relief, casework, family counselling, budget and bill assistance, legal advice, Tax Help, NILS applications and travel assistance to members of the community in times of need.
We pride ourselves on the wonderful work we do whilst operating in a non-judgemental, accessible, flexible and collaborative manner. As a Community Information Worker you will be trained to work with our service users to provide assistance in a caring, confidential and impartial manner whilst respecting the individual’s right to make their own choices and decisions.
Our agency is open from Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm with volunteers offered a choice between morning and afternoon shifts. Morning shift commences at 9.30am and finishes at 1.00pm whilst the afternoon component commences at 1.00pm and finishes at 4.30pm.
We currently have a number of opportunities to join our fabulous team of volunteers on Fridays and Wednesday mornings.
