Our team members are what make our organisation so great!  If you have ever thought of filling in some of your spare time, contributing to make a difference in someone else’s life, giving back to the community, or just need some work experience to help with future employment opportunities – we may be just what you are looking for!

Our agency, located in Hampton East, provides a drop in service for community members to access information, advocacy, referrals, emergency relief, casework, family counselling, budget and bill assistance, legal advice, Tax Help, NILS applications and travel assistance.

We pride ourselves on the wonderful work we do whilst operating in a non-judgemental, accessible, flexible and collaborative manner.  As a Community Information Worker you will be trained to work with our service users to provide assistance in a caring, confidential and impartial manner whilst respecting the individual’s right to make their own choices and decisions.

Our agency is open from Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm with volunteers offered a choice between morning and afternoon shifts.  Morning shift commences at 9.30am and finishes at 1.00pm whilst the afternoon component commences at 1.00pm and finishes at 4.30pm.

Every volunteer will be required to undergo a Police Check, Working with Children Check and referee checks.  You will be supported through an induction and onsite training.
