BayCISS is an independent not for profit charity that supports vulnerable community members across most of Goldstein. We are a volunteer agency with only a paid Manager and small admin component.
Each year we see approximately 3000 clients each year providing support, information, advocacy, referral and emergency relief in the form of food parcels, food and other essential items.
At Christmas time we distribute 150 hampers and Christmas gifts to clients and community members who cannot afford to enjoy the extras most of us take for granted at Christmas. Many of the clients have children and grandchildren and cannot afford to buy gifts for them, so we rely on community donations to ensure that children in our local area have an enjoyable Christmas.
Donations can be in the form of non perishable food, toys or other gifts appropriate for children up to 14 years and financial donations to purchase some items or provide extra food vouchers at this time.
All financial donations are tax deductible and go directly to the delivery of the Christmas program – no donations are used for administration.
