The Pink Box has landed!

Share the Dignity is an Australian Charity bringing dignity to homeless, at-risk and those experiencing domestic violence through the distribution of sanitary items and funding of funerals.

Twice a year they collect sanitary items that are then donated to our registered charities.  Our charity partners then supply these items to women at a time when they need it most.

Each November the charity collect handbags filled with personal care products for distribution at Christmas time.

Share the Dignity believes that women deserve a life time of dignity and safety.  The Because We Care initiative covers funeral costs for women killed by violent family members.  The generous cash donors and businesses provide the much needed funds which help ease the burden on surviving family members at this devastating time.

BayCISS have been supported by the Share the Dignity charity for some time receiving handbags and personal care items for distribution to our community members when they need it most.  We are now excited to present our new Dignity Vending Machine (or the pink box as it is affectionately known).  Share the Dignity provide a free vending machine filled with pads and tampons for community members to access whilst visiting our agency in a discreet and respectful manner.  It may surprise you to know that many women choose between eating and buying sanitary products…we agree with Share the Dignity that this is not okay!

Our new Pink Box is up and running, fully stocked and waiting to assist you!
