End of an amazing innings!

When asked why she might like volunteering with what was then, the Moorabbin Citizens Advice Bureau way back in 1993, Aileen quite simply wrote, “I like people” on her application.

Twenty five years later we bid farewell to this amazing human being who has been coming to our agency every week to do what she can to help the people of Bayside.

BayCISS would like to sincerely thank you for your contribution, your commitment, your willingness to be here for others, your loyalty, your endless kindness, your wonderful nature, your sparkling personality, but most of all, your unconditional friendship!

Aileen became interested in volunteering at BayCISS following a casual conversation with a friend who thought she might be able to give some support to her local community.  That conversation led to an amazing 25 year association with the agency following a lifetime of working in a well respected law firm in the city.  She listed her skills as shorthand and typing and commenced her role as a Community Information Volunteer in August of 1993.

You too can be part of this amazing agency and join us in doing amazing things for amazing individuals.  All you have to do is like people!
